I frequently come up with ideas for websites but rarely have the time and/or resources to turn them into a reality. I’ll be posting website ideas weekly for you to try out. Some will be good, some might not be, but we’ll see what happens. If you use this idea, please let me know! I’d love to see what you come up with.

This idea has been on my mind for a few months, I just haven’t had the time or energy to turn it into a reality. Podcasting is very popular, and it’s only getting better. More and more podcasts are broadcasting live on ustream, stickam, or shoutcast. By broadcasting live shows, you open the doors to more listener input.

The idea is this: At the beginning of a show, the gives a URL to a webpage with a contact form on it. If listeners want to give their input on the topic, they go to that url and fill out a form.

When the form is submitted, the DJ is alerted either through a instant message, or just by displaying it in their admin control panel.

Note: This idea has been done before, but they did it pretty badly. See TalkTrap.com for an example.
