A friend of mine, , is offering cheap hosting to anyone who was scammed by Null3d. He’s been a sponsor of a joint project between Huru, Mark Cole (threeman), Rick Hastings, and Henry Legge. He runs the hosting company PublicWebServer.net, which has superb uptime (he hosts jupiter.ircnode.org)
Here’s a message from Dave:
I recently established Publicwebserver to cater the a specific market, one that encorporates sites like techtuts, pixel2life, etc. It’s been hard getting the site going and has been made even harder by people like Jono that set their “5-minute-business” up and then run off brining distrust on the rest of us, even honest providers.
After much thought I believe it would be benificial to us in building up our market whilst at the same time giving something back to the community if we tried to help the victims of this attack.
If you were scammed by Jono and require hosting still then email me on dave@publicwebserver.net or catch me on ircnode’s #lobby (Dave/Apox) and I will try to offer you some form of discount.
Spread the word as the objective of this campaign is not only to promote ourselves but to help you aswell.Obviously this isn’t a free giveaway to anybody so yuo will need to provide some form of proof that you got scammed. Although this is as simple as convincing me.
Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from some of you soon.
don’t be fazed by people like Jono. The small providers are still the best!Dave
He’s right. I’ve had faster support and faster service in general with all small hosts I’ve had. Dave should be available to answer any questions you have on IRCNode in #lobby

Devon Says:
I think it is great that you are offering low prices to the people that have been scammed. I myself was, but I have allready purchased hosting from someone else and do not see the need to change atm.
Keep up the great work, will be sure to spread the word!
