CleverAndy.com Is Quite Clever

I was taking a look at the CodeIgniter.com blog and came across a link to CleverAndy.com. The domain sounds like it would be a blog or personal portfolio, but it looks like it could be a valuable resource for designers.

When a designer creates designs for a client, there’s usually a few that aren’t accepted. These designs are sometimes discarded and never touched again. CleverAndy allows you to upload such designs easily. If they like your design, they then port your design over to Expression Engine and show show it to their clients. If their client wants it, they pay you!

From The CleverAndy FAQ

How much do I get paid?
Let’s say your design is accepted and we move it to production you will receive a 25% cut of the total sale amount when it gets handed off to the client. This means that you will receive on average $825 - $1000 for your design.

I just thought you would like to hear about this interesting new site. I’m not a great designer myself, but I know a lot of my readers are.
